
HISTORY
The Circular Economy Technology Centre, CircularTEC, was created in 2021 thanks to CORFO funding, which enabled the creation of the first centre of its kind in the country's Northern Macro-zone, an unprecedented initiative at the international level.
Working together with academia, business and government, CircularTec seeks to promote the development of technological solutions that accelerate the transition to the circular economy in three strategic sectors: copper mining, solar energy and lithium.

MISSION
Promote collaborative research, development and innovation between industry, academia, government and the territory based on the circular economy model, which will generate economic, social and environmental value in the northern macro-zone of Chile.
VISION
To transform the northern macro-zone of Chile into a benchmark of circular economy at national and international level, through research, development and innovation that will allow the diversification and sophistication of the productive and trade matrix of the country's northern macro-zone.
