RESEARCH AND PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIPS

At circularTec we continuously receive master's students and doctoral researchers for internships to develop an applied research project. There are two ways to apply:

Competitions: At different times of the year CircularTec makes open calls for internships focused on projects developed by our internal teams. This information is published on our website and social networks.

Open window: if you consider that you have a project of interest for CircularTec, you can send us your proposal at any time of the year, which will be evaluated by our team within one month.

Some frequently asked questions:

In which city do the internships take place?

Mainly in our headquarters in the city of Iquique, Tarapacá Region, or the city of Santiago. In some special cases other cities of the country with some of our founding institutions can be considered.

In which language can the internship be done?

Internships can be conducted in Spanish or English.

Are internships paid?

It depends on the budgetary availability of the institution. However, in the case of open competitions, they are usually remunerated.

Are there any recommendations for topics to submit an internship proposal?

We recommend that you focus your internship on the strategic axes developed by CircularTec: copper mining, lithium, solar panels and territorial development. But we are always open to receive new proposals.

Can the internships be done in online format?

Only in those cases in which for economic reasons the stay cannot be financed. In the case of paid internships, pre-nationality is required.

PROFESSIONAL PRACTICES

In our role of strengthening the training of national professionals, CircularTec receives intermediate and final internship students from different careers throughout the year.

The format of the internship can be classroom-based or hybrid, depending on the type of function to be performed and the requirements of the higher education institution (universities, professional institutes or technical training centers).
