An invitation to collaborate in the transition of the Circular Economy in Central America allowed the Circular Economy Technology Center, CircularTec, to have an important presence in the first co-creation meeting of the first Public Innovation Lab in Guatemala, with a focus on CE. This participation demonstrates CircularTec's commitment to promoting the non-linear economy and building more sustainable societies.
The circular economy is an approach that seeks to optimize the use of resources and minimize waste and pollution. It is important that Latin American countries work together to promote the circular economy and create more sustainable societies.
"I hope that the collaboration between Latin American countries in the Public Innovation Laboratory of Guatemala will continue to bear fruit and that CircularTec will continue to contribute to the promotion of the circular economy in the region," said the executive director of the entity, Andreé Henríquez, who together with the academic from the Central University, Luis Martínez Cerna, participated as a speaker and as part of the discussion forum of the activity.
